Autumn is among us now, for those of us that live in the Northern Hemisphere. It's that time for cozy blankets, cable knit sweaters, crunchy leaves, mini apple pies, and hot coffees and teas.

Many people spend tons of money on Starbucks during this season (which you can't blame them; I'm a bit of a fan as well!), but this recipe will keep you in your budget while still having a tasty drink on a cold Autumn day.
Let's get started!

THE INGREDIENTS

  • Tazo Chai Pumpkin Spice teabags
  • Any kind of half-and-half or milk (can be dairy substitutes, I believe)
  • Any kind of sweetener, but I use Domino sugar.
  • Water, of course
  • And obviously a mug!
  • If you have an espresso machine, you can use this, but I don't own one so this is a simple recipe.

THE PROCESS

1. Grab your coffee/tea cup or mug.
2. Grab a cup/mug cozy and hold on to it. When the tea is done, you're gonna want to wrap that bad boy up.
3. Get your teabag ready!
4a. If you're in a hurry for warmth, you can microwave the water. I do this for about 2 minutes, 30 seconds. You can choose to microwave the water solo, or with the teabag in the mug. That's up to you!
4b. If you have a bit of patience, you can simple boil the water in a pot or tea kettle.
5a. If you microwave your tea, simply steep the teabag for your desired amount of time, or take the teabag out if you put it in the water prior to microwaving.
5b. If you boil your water, once it's done, simply pour water over the teabag and steep for desired amount of time.
6. Remove teabag, if necessary.
7. Pour your dairy/nondairy product into the tea. The amount is your preference.
8. Add sweetener. The amount is your preference.
9. Stir.
10. Enjoy!

** Please note, this isn't going to look fancy and foamy due to not owning an espresso machine. The taste, however, is outstanding!
